These pages were taken on the Friday night. It is open to the public all week to walk through the Pitts area and meet the riders. More people would come on the Friday night for the pre-race buzz and atmosphere for the next day. We would always meet the riders and get some photographs and autographs. When you look at these pages it is made all the more important to document the events, etc in your life. One of the photographs is of Martin Finnegan who sadly lost his life at the Tandragee road races the next year. The photograph isn't of very good quality, but the memories of meeting him and how friendly and kind he was to the girls was amazing, considering what emotions he was experiencing for the races on Saturday.
