Just a quick post from me today as I haven't had a lot of time for crafting recently. Have finally got all my little bags, etc., made for GB for the craft fair, then I have had to do the vat for my father-in-law/husbands business and then my second daughter Sophie was 15 yesterday. I made this card for her on Monday night and as I had so much other stuff to do was panicking in case I didn't get one made. Now I think I can finally get some Christmas cards made, here's hoping.
Anyway I am entering my card into two challenges:- Friday Sketchers - Follow Sketch Papertake Weekly - Cut it out - Use punches (flowers) or nesties (Image frame), etc.
Was just following the sketch for Friday Sketchers and it was only today when I was checking Papertake Weekly's challenge that I saw my card was suitable for it too.

Got to make another card yesterday. Definitely was a good weekend as I got to make three cards. I know that doesn't seem a lot but for me that is so good.

I am really enjoying these Martha Stewart punches. I only had the Doily Lace and it didn't always give a clean cut as it is so intricate. These ones are just so easy to work with and I will definitely be using them more than I thought I would.
Thanks for popping by on this cold foggy frosty morning. Off now to do the housework, well Sophie's bedroom anyway as she had her friend Chloe to stay for the wekend and you probably can imagine what her bedroom looks like.
I managed to get another card made yesterday afternoon when Hollie was at a birthday party. I used one of my new Martha Stewart punches and I love it. Two cards in two days, things are looking up.

I stamped and coloured this image last Saturday night and only got the card finished last night but I am really pleased with it as it is a really cute image.

I haven't had much time for crafting this week as I have been busy making items for Girls Brigade for their craft fair in a few weeks time. I also went to the craft show in Belfast on Thursday. This is my first time going to this one as I normally would only go in March/April time. Anyway the first stand was Crafty Devils and I was looking for a couple of Martha Stewart edge puches (picket fence and zig zag). I have seen these on some cards and really like them. He was selling these punches for £9.50, the deep edge for £12.00 and around the page for £17.99. Quite a few people were asking was this a misprint but he said he was in dispute with another exhibitor so he cut his prices. At these prices I got a few more edger punches. May not use them yet but at least they are on the shelf gathering dust with everything else. Got some ribbon, pearls/gems, foam tape and double sided tape. Quite enjoyed it. Also was the first time I went on my own as the girls were at school.
Thanks for popping by and I hope you have a good weekend. Weather dry and sunny with a slight nip in the air today. Not complaining as we had gale force winds and rain on Thursday evening. Hopefully get another card made over the weekend.
Got a chance to make another card last night. Hubby now has "Man Flu" and says he got it from me, although I am now feeling a lot better. I am entering my card into two challenges :- Truly Scrumptious # 44 - Follow sketch and optional theme of petals, pearls or pins. I have used a few flowers as I don't have any pearls or pins (when I had completed the card, I realised I had stuck everything done wrong, so this means the sketch was rotated, so the card opens up rather than out) and Flutter By Wednesday # 129 - Open theme but use a fairy, butterfly or angel. I used fairies and there is a little butterfly on the sentiment too.
I got this stamp this week. It wouldn't have been a usual choice for me as I am not really into fairies or angels. I got it free when I purchased a couple of stamps from Funkykits (Sugar Nellie). So thought I would use it for these challenges. Was nice to colour but quite intricate in places.

Thanks for popping by. Hope you are having a nice weekend whatever you are doing. I hope to make another card tonight while watching the X-Factor. I am not really enjoying it this year but you think you are missing something if you don't watch it. Although I have to take Sophie to the cinema and collect her later and leave her friend home and collect Shannon from work.

Apologies for the photograph. Taken this evening, light not so good. Makes the paper look gold and not orange.
Thanks for popping by. I also want to say thanks for the comments last night when I wasn't feeling great, they were much appreciated.
Just a quick post from me today. Have not been feeling great these last few days with a chesty cough and as two of my daughters are still on holidays, not much time for crafting.

Anyway, thanks for popping by, your comments are very much appreciated. Going now to collect my eldest daughter from school.
My name is Donna and I have been married for twenty nine years to Leslie and we have three daughters. Shannon is 26, Sophie is 24 and Hollie is 17. I like to craft in my spare time, which isn't as often as I would like.
