Another card made but it is one of those that you can't put your finger on what is missing. It just seems to be lacking something. Maybe I choose the wrong papers or image. Anyway, a few flowers and gems later and it seems a bit better. I have left the sentiment off as i couldn't really think of one. Was going along the lines of - This girls got art-i-tude, but decided against it.
I am entering my card into four challenges :-
Sugar Bowl # 52 - Sketch - optional theme love (didn't use this)
Totally Gorjuss # 65 - Anything Goes
Flutterby Wednesday # 140 - Open theme just use a fairy, butterfly or angel
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes plus flowers
Cardblank - Craftwork Cards
Patterned Papers - Echo Park
Cardstock - Paper Mill
Woodware Punch
Gems - Mei Flower
Image - Sugar Nellie
Coloured with Distress Inks
Butterfly Charm - stash
Raffia Lace - Paper Cellar
Thanks very much for popping by, I know it can get very busy sometimes. Your comments are much appreciated and I would like to say thank you to Debby and Alison on their advice on the Grand Calibur. Must check it out a bit more. I do have the big shot and the cuttlebug (which sit on a shelf and rarely get used), it was just I liked the shaped cards that I see a few people using. I also want to say hello and thank you to Lena another new follower.
Off now to the supermarket to get a few things for the girls packed lunches and maybe nip into town before I have to start the school runs and make tea as it Girls Brigade tonight, so will be busy later.

Hi Donna, I think the card looks fab, and agree that it really doesn't need a sentiment. I love the spring colours, certainly makes feel brighter on this dreary wednesday. Thank you for all the lovely comments and taking the time to visit my blog. When I started crafting I was a kitchen crafter. I do feel so lucky for having a craft room, but sometimes just being able to leave a project on your desk doesn't help with my mojo, but when I was a kitchen crafter, by always having to move my projects always gave me more inspiration. The Grand Calibur is the best die machine I have bought. I have the bigshot and sizzix dies, but I always had alot of spellbinders dies as you get more for money making them a better bye. When I used my spellbinders dies in my bigshot I never quite got it right and the embossing was a chore. But now, I only started using it a week ago and I haven't stopped using it yet. All the spellbinders dies fit, and it really is as easy as the cutting mats are labelled ABC. And if your using the smaller dies you can fit loads on at a time. At last I think I'm finally going to use all my spellbinders dies more often (some haven't even been opened and was bought over a year ago!!!). So (as you may have guessed lol) I would recommend it.
Have a great week.
