Truly Scrumptious, Pollycraft Monday Challenge and Lily of the Valley

Well I did manage to fit in a card last night.  Two cards in two days -  its about time I got a bit more crafting done. My eldest daughter decided she would go to an 18th birthday party after she finished work, so therefore it was a late night for me.  Normally I would be in bed around 10pm most nights.  She wasn't too late, it was about 12.15am that I had to collect her as she was tired.  She had already done a beach walk during school hours, which they do every year to support local charities, then some homework, then work from 6 - 9.30 pm and then the party.  Anyway onto my card, before I have to see what the plans are for today and who needs taken where and when.
I am entering my card into three challenges - Truly Scrumptious # 41 - Follow Sketch with optional theme of blue and green.  I know they say blue and green should never be seen but I love this colour combination. Pollycraft Monday Challenge # 62 - Cute and Cuddly and Lily of the Valley # 66 - Untraditional Christmas (I know I have coloured the envelope and the bird's breast red, so hope it will still count).

Cute Card Thursday, Papertake Weekly and Totally Gorjuss

This is one of my newest stamp purchases. I love the image and it was beautiful to colour, but I am not sure about my card.  When I had inked up my stamp and coloured it, these were the first papers I came across as I had bought them recently at the Paper Mill shop.  Normally I only buy cardstock but they had these papermania papers on offer, so I purchased them and they were still sitting in their  bag as I hadn't had a chance to put them away as yet.
Anyway the papers aren't too bad, but maybe it is just because the reindeers are not all going the same way, so it just feels as if something is wrong.
I am entering my card into 3 challenges - Totally Gorjuss # 48 - An animal
                                                            Papertake Weekly - Animal Magic
Cute Card Thursday # 131 - Follow Sketch
Cardstock - Paper Mill
Patterned Papers - Papermania
Ribbon - Dovecraft
Charm from stash
Image - Stampavie Design by Penny Johnson (purchased from Dies to Die For)
Sentiment - Pink Gem

I hope to do a bit of crafting this weekend but who knows. My eldest daughter Shannon is working tonight and Sophie my second daughter has a friend coming after school and having a sleepover. My youngest daughter Hollie will maybe have other plans for me or maybe she will craft as well.
Thanks for popping by, I do appreciate your comments and I hope you have a nice weekend.

Pollycraft Monday 61, Sugar Bowl, Flutter By Wednesday and Cute Card Thursday

I made this card yesterday after I left my daughter to work.  She was working from 4 - 7.30pm, so I knew tea would be late and so thought I would make another card.  I am entering my card into The Sugar Bowl # 43 - Judy's Sketch - follow sketch, with optional theme of buttons, Pollycraft Monday # 61 - Jane's theme of autumn colours, Flutter By Wednesday # 122 - buttons and a fairy, angel or butterfly and Cute Card Thursday # 130 - Tweet and a flutter.
I followed the sketch and used buttons, with autumn colours and added a butterfly.  There is also a bird on the stamped image.  Hope my card is suitable for all the challenges.

Mojo Monday 156 and Papertake Weekly

Had quite a busy week, so not much time for crafting.  Hubby back at work after time off with the shingles and not a great patient. Had to catch up on housework,  lots of homework for my daughters (my eldest is not enjoying AS English Literature) and Sunday School and Girls Brigade all started back this week. I help out with the Tinies section at Girls Brigade and taught P6 at Sunday School for the last three years, although this year I am now doing P2/P3.  Had some free time last night as my eldest daughter Shannon had her first shift at work from 6 - 9.30pm, my second daughter Sophie was at a friends house and having a sleepover and my youngest daughter Hollie was playing with her friend in her room.  I thought I would have some me time and a bit of crafting, as hubby was watching television and then trying to organise a weekend to Oulton Park for the motorbike races.  Had an idea in my head how this would work out, didn't quite happen that way, but I am pleased with the end result, I think. It is a long time since I have made an easel card and  I really do like this style of card.
I am entering my card into Mojo Monday 156 - Follow Sketch and Papertake Weekly - Picture Inspiration (I went for the colours turquoise, pink and purple, although I added black, so I hope that is ok).
Cardstock - Bazzill
Patterned Paper - Bo Bunny Sophie
Stamp - Elzybells (I purchased this at half price, but it is now further reduced)
Calendar - Paper Mill Shop
Ribbon - Doodlebug
Ric Rac - Doodlebug
Inpads - Versa Cubes
Flowers - Acccessorize
I was going to place the calendar on the top part of the card and a post- it  pad with a pen on the bottom part but the calendar was to big, so I made it just a calendar card. Will try this idea with a smaller stamped image and maybe it will work. When I was reading through the sentiment stamp, I realised I had missed the last line, so I stamped it on its own  and layered it.

Thanks for popping by, hope you have a nice weekend.  Weather here wet as usual and quite cold. We missed summer, now looks like we are going to miss Autumn too.

Papertake Weekly # 47, Flutter By Wednesday 121 and Cute Card Thursday 129

I made this card today after coming back from the dentist.  It is very wet and windy and I wasn't in the mood for housework, etc so I thought I would make a card as I haven't had a lot of time recently. I am entering the card into three challenges - Papertake Weekly - Sketch, Flutter By Wednesday - Pink and a fairy, angel or butterfly and Cute Card Thursday - Play on words. I have followed the Sketch, used the colour pink and a fairy and I hope my sentiment is suitable for a play on words - Wishing you a fairy special birthday.

Sorry for the photo quality, it was the best of the five photos I took, but the light wasn't great.

Mojo Monday 155, Pollycraft Monday 60 and Lily of the Valley 64

Here is a card I made last night for Mojo Monday 155 - Sketch, Pollycraft Monday 60 - Theme Christmas - No Red or Green and Lily of the Valley 64 - Theme - One for the Boys.
I received these Lily of the Valley stamps the other day and as they are my first set of these stamps, I hope that this image of James Bear with presents is suitable for the challenge.  I made the card in colours for a male card and quite like these together.  These are really old papers I have from DCWV.  I wasn't sure about the sketch, as I don't really like bows on my cards, however, I am pleased with the finished card.

Sorry for not making any cards and posting lately.  What with getting the girls all back to school and getting used to routines again, along with Girls Brigade and Sunday School registrations, it has been quite hectic.  My eldest daughter Shannon also got a part time job and had her induction training on Thursday evening and starts work this Friday in Dunnes Stores (a department store) in the childrenswear department, which she is delighted about as she didn't want to work in the cafe. My husband has also been off work this week, not very well with the shingles and he is not a very good patient.  Hopefully, he will be back at work this week and things will settle down and more crafting can be done.
Hope you are having a nice weekend, whatever you are doing.
P.S. I have tried to link my card to Mojo Monday, however it keeps telling me to start over, don't know why.
